Welcome to Melvin Pharmacy
Melvin Pharmacy is located on the shores of Lough Melvin in the picturesque village of Garrison, Co Fermanagh. Garrison is 6 miles from the neighbouring town of Belleek and just a stones throw away from Rossinver in Lovely Leitrim.
Melvin Pharmacy was opened in February 2009, by local pharmacist Siobhan Mc Nulty (nee Mc Gee). Siobhan trained as a pharmacist in John Moores University, Liverpool.
After spending 2 years as a clinical pharmacist in the Alderhey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, and 1 year as a manager and clinical trainer with Lloyds Pharmacy, Siobhan returned to Ireland to pursue her dream of opening her own pharmacy. Siobhan is the pharmacy representative on the Local Commissioning Group for the Western Trust, which is responsible for commissioning health related projects in the area . Siobhan is also a qualified Independent Prescriber, and works closely with local GP surgeries, implementing prescribing policies in line with NICE and Trust guidelines.
At Melvin pharmacy we recognise that we can provide a greater service than just dispensing prescriptions. Our core principal is to provide outstanding service and educate our patients on how best to take their medication and look after their own health.
